It’s because the pens have wingers in their system and wingers are easier to replace. Centers aren’t. Especially since Geno is going to be out until December at least.

Hey you know you lost the trade when you trade to combine 2 separate trades to try and claim a W and you still find a way to come out with an L lol.
Hallander at 19 had more points in 15 less games in his adult league than Amirov has at 19. Hallander only had 1 season under his belt whereas Amirov has 2 lol. Oh Hallander has more post season points in his adult league in less games than Amirov. Trading a prospect that at least shows he might show up come playoff time and keep the one that shows he probably won’t. Par for the course with Toronto 😂
