If he gets claimed, you dont sign expensive UFA, you rebuild. That means Toffoli, Petry and Anderson out while their value is great. Plus use the cap space to gain assets by taking on bad contracts

It's crazy that MTL values Jake Allen over Price.

His contract isn't ideal, but he just saved the GM's job and carried the team to the Cup Final.

seattle wont take him. if thye take him, itll be to flip him and retain half which could get a monster return, but price's nmc will be reinstated so seattle wont take that risk.
