Im a bit disappointed but I trust Fitz. He only does trades that are worthwhile for the team. He probably didn't see a good deal to help the team

Getting a veteran scoring winger like Palat or JVR would be smart (I had the same idea too), but it doesn't seem like something Fitz would do. He said "he doesn't want any quick fixes"

I gotta think, he's gonna do something at the draft. I don't see us drafting with that Isles 1st. I think it's gonna be part of a deal.

Not disappointed at all. Salary cap issues aren’t going to magically disappear and there will be a lot of movement around free agency. Fitzgerald said that he isn’t done so I’m perfectly fine with only having g that 1 move before the expansion draft

You have to remember that the devils could only really add 1 damn before the expansion draft because they had room to protect him. If they added a forward you are exposing and likely losing McLeod and I didn't see anyone moved for a forward that I'd happily lose him for. Also apparently the Devils were in on Senko but the blues wanted too much for him. We still have 30M in cap space to work with this offseason and even more, if Seattle decides they want a year of PK (although my money is on them taking Johnsson and betting on a bounce-back season)

I think Fitz stay the course & doesn't aquire anyone > 28 years old unless part of cap dump with futures attached

Idk, its a weird year scouting wise. Very few sure things, maybe late gems appear far more than other years, due to lack of exposure. Id have no issue with best available at 29.
