Ok leafs what man like what are you doing

Dubas bro, why didn’t u just go 7-3-1? Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Kerfoot, McCann, and Simmonds I guess, and then the 3 D rielly, Brodie and Muzzin??? I’d rather lose dermott or holl for nothing instead of kerfoot. Kerfoot is more tradable than dermott and we could’ve actually gotten something back for him but now he’s 99.99% going to Seattle. I guess they can trade dermott now? Or maybe Seattle takes dermott? But I doubt it. It just makes no sense to me as to why they didn’t go 7-3-1.

    There’s no way Justin Holl is so valuable they had to go 4-4-1 to protect him. This is a fail by Dubas IMO

    They traded Mccann to replace Kerfoot getting taken either way you have a capable 3C. Relax

    Or protect both and leave holl exposed? What’s the deal with the leafs and holl? He’s carried by Muzzin.

    Holl looks lost without Muzzin. He’s not worth protecting over one of the few forwards who showed up in the playoffs and a guy you just gave a solid prospect to get

    Holl has more value them Dermott .Dermott couldn't even crack the lineup at times last year

    Dermott is younger, hasn’t hit his ceiling and wasn’t playing with Muzzin and getting carried by him like holl was. Holl looked terrible when he was with anyone other than holl

    While I understand where you are coming from here, protecting both McCann and Kerfoot accomplishes that and more. McCann is better suited for the wing anyway so really while he is a Center as well, I think he should be viewed as a left winger with up the lineup potential. So protect 7/3/1 and lose Holl or Dermott, then you can either roll with Kerfoot as your 3 C or move him to get cap space. He has mid round pick or b prospect value.
