You can add anything you’d like, it’s the most emphatic hard no. Maybe if he signed for a million? But also why is he signing somewhere and then getting traded the next day.

So the Sharks trade Burns and a 4th, while retaining salary, for a worse player for the same amount of term with only 2 mil cap relief? Plus Petterson has a M-NTC the last two years. That’s an awful trade for San Jose.
