Detroit declines, we have enough defenders - 17 of them.

I think dermott to Detroit isnt crazy but after signing a couple free agents I dont think its a plan to go get anyone else. He isnt a guy that moves the needle enough that they go get him.

I can see what you're saying its just a hypothetical. Detroit gets young dman and and we gets picks back to spend on the next years deadline to improve our biggest hole on the team I created (LW depth)

You think wrong cause SJ has already too many bottom six options. We're not paying a 4th for yet another one to be scratched.

Yea my bad I forgot SJS only goes after bottom 6 players who can barley skate or in their 30s.

My bad, taught y'all could use some speed in that slow lineup

Mikheyev is a good player on a good contract why are you trading him? I don't get why cap friendly users seem to want to dump him

He is good player the reason I've traded him was more out necessity to create a space for Robertson and to get back draft picks so they can be heavy buyers at the deadline.

Every year with Matthews, Marner, JT and Nylander we need to be all in.

I'd bench Simmonds before him. Brooks too

But you're not getting salary cap relief when sitting them. With Robertson in the line up, you can send him down without losing him to waivers and etc.

I am legit surprised Nieto is only 28. It feels like he has been around forever.
