Hell No to Virtanen, Why would we want a guy who's under criminal investigation for assault upon a female?

He definitely doesn't play hard, Hoglander is more of a power forward than Virtanen is. And there is that other thing that is probably keeping GMs away

Agreed. Virtanen is a fast skater but never uses it to his advantage. He doesn’t even work hard and is sloppy plus he came to training camp out of shape. TWICE.

Even if he's found innocent i still don't want him, He's basically Mantha 2.0 he has the talent is an excellent skater. just doesn't live up to his potential like Mantha.

I wouldn't put him in the same category as Mantha. Mantha is a legit top six I see him as a bottom six with a little upside. I just like the that he has a bit of a mean streak, isn't affraid to throw his body around, and then the speed is nice to have in the bottom six instead of plugs. You are right he hasn't lived up to the high draft selection but at this point I think he is a bottom six.

No to Virtanen, but I would sign Palmieri to a deal. It would give us more line combination choices.

Palmieri is the better player for sure, but he doesn't make sense for the wings in a rebuild.

Palmieri is still available. And if he would sign for 1-2 years he would be a flippable asset.
