Sorry where is Jeff Skinner? He's the biggest team first guy in the league, hence why he only took the pittance of 9mil instead of his market value 15.9 mil

I agree that these are underpaid players for the most part -- but I wouldn't consider the majority of them to be team-friendly deals. That has a different connotation for me.

Point's new deal is a team-friendly deal when you consider what Marner/Matthews are making. However, MacKinnon's current deal wasn't signed as a team-friendly deal -- he had a career high of 63 points and 24 goals at that point (both from his rookie year). It wasn't until the first season of his new contract that he absolutely exploded with 39 goals and 97 points. But he is underpaid for what he is producing now.
