Posts like this don't make a lot of sense because every trade/draft selection will have a knock down effect on the more recent ones.
For instance, Eller was the pick that the Maple Leafs initially traded away, but there isn't a guarantee they pick him. This also means that Toskala isn't a Maple Leaf, which could mean that Couture isn't a Shark. Not a terrible effect on the roster, but around this time Toronto was pretending to be a playoff team and they needed a 1A/1B goaltender. Depending on what they do, this either puts them higher in the 2008 draft or much lower, which could be the difference between drafting Pietrangelo or Zack Boychuk.
Same with the Kessel trade, which I a) think was a blunder and b) undoing drastically changes the roster. Let's say that the Leafs don't do that trade and pick Seguin and Hamilton. This would mean that the team wouldn't be pushing for the lottery in 2014-2016, so no Nylander, Marner or Matthews.
