It would be interesting trade for the trade for Kings, getting a top notch winger....but only if he is signed long term, for the potential of Byfield. Kap would help the Kings immediately who seem have lots of good young centres.

Yeah sure wild will trade Kevin fiala for an absolute joke of a player in drouin , along with worse contract and cap. Nobody wants Jonathan drouin. It's almost laughable why other teams fans do this

Kaprizov will play in the NHL. There is unequivocally more money here now and on his next contract. That said, I’m a Wild fan and I think the Kings would be crazy to move Byfield, even for Kap.

Even if he does, the Kings lose three years of Byfield at an ELC during a cap freeze for a player looking to get a contract that gets them to UFA for another payday.
