no need or use for mikheyev or kokkonen, would be a really easy pass for ottawa

It would have to be in a prospect swap but there is no reason for Ottawa to trade him. Formenton is probably the fastest skater in the league (no McDavid isn't the fastest)

There's no incentive for Ottawa to do this. Formenton is young and fits the exact model of what Ottawa is trying to build their roster into. He plays hard, responsible, and he's arguably the fastest skater in the league.
