I don't think Jets takes it since Strome's a pending UFA. Dubois has a huge ceiling which was proven in his 2019-20 campaign with CBJ, but the regressed last year, so they shouldn't move him without great return.

Why not risk Duchene with retention? He’d be perfect behind Mika and far cheaper to acquire. If they retained $2.5 mil it might fit under the cap, plus I see no way he doesn’t produce next to Panarin and Kravtsov.

Edmonton might be interested in Georgiev for Koskinen plus, but not a 1st. Georgiev’s SV% isn’t on average that much different than Koskinen and it has only been slowly trending down the past four years where as Koskinen is more volatile. Better off just using Koskinen for another year and look at Georgiev next summer for a lot less. Might be interested in retaining money on Koskinen to keep cap hits the same and attach a lower round pick or B level prospect.
