Why would you sign him and then play him over a top defensive prospect in Liljegren???

Nick Bonino is the 3rd line center, SJ isn't paying a 2nd for a player that doesn't fit team needs.

If Dubas had a taker for a 2nd Kerfoot would have been moved before the draft. Same for the Waiver brothers Engvall and Mikeyev

dubas dint take a second for kerfoot because he dint have a replacement for him yet. with kampf now we are assured to have a defensive minded C who can win draws

The only thing Gudbranson shuts down is his own team. The Leafs dont need another shutdown defenseman even though Gudbranson isn't one at all
