As a Preds fan, I like the trade from a value perspective. However, I think you’d have to add a 3rd or something similar to beat the other trade propositions. Additionally, the in-division trade is something the Preds are probably looking to avoid.

I figure that the avs aren't going to resign forsberg in the offseason so it would be purely a rental and playoffs... preds ARe projecred to make the playoffs as it stands so I doubt that divisonally wouldnt matter much
