I hate this craze. Nothing against Miller, but this is like the 5th time ive seen this today and New York does not do it. Miller is young and under team control

I think they do if there is an extension in place. Rielly is 27 years old and is capable of putting up 40 points. He showed in the playoffs that he was good defensively. If Rangers are up for it, I would do the trade in a heartbeat

Toronto has no money next year. Forsberg gets a raise, Campbell gets a raise and Sandin gets a new contract. Also I think it was a Toronto fan that started this craze

And the Rangers have no cap space unless they move Kreider in that deal

They can’t afford to extend him tho. They have bigger needs which they’d be casting aside if they did extend him.

Also I’m really confused about the Nemeth contract. Why would the Rangers give him that long when you got Jones, Robertson, Reunanen that would be fighting for the 3LD in the next 1-2 years? And they need the cap space for other spots

Tbh as a neutral fan, I would really like to see Vilardi for Miller. I feel like both sides will win that deal

That's one of the few trades proposals that I would consider. I think there would need to be an additional piece or two added to balance the trade, but the core of the trade works.
