why do ppl think strome is a good player? he's nothing without panarin, and i did notice this team does not have panarin. I mean just take cizikas or goodrow at that point, he's so much better in the bottom 6.

Panarin was injured most of the season and Strome did just fine

most of the season? he played 42/56 games, and had 58 points, and when he wasn't there he had ppl like zibanejad and fox on the powerplay, and kakko and lafreniere to feed him points. he's a decent passenger who doesn't slow down the rangers offense, but he doesn't drive the game by himself, and he wouldn't put up anywhere near the points on a line with dickinson and appleton as he does on the rangers. he's just kinda useless by himself, especially in the bottom 6, he'd be a waste of 4.5 mil on this team.
