As much as I would love to get Debrusk, maximize his trade value with tons of playing time and trade him for more assets, it is just not really close at all unfortunately. He would have to be in a package deal for dvorak which i also do not see happening but ya never know.

CBJ don't want/ need Schmaltz that much.

Schmaltz ain't worth a potential Top-5 pick in a stacked draft. Let alone with more added.

I think Bruins accept that two players that could use a fresh start. Also Phil not going back to Pittsburgh.

I know, not to mention the Pens have exactly $121,000 in available space, but we miss him lol

Oo!

If 3 different teams retained 50% on a league minimum player in a 4 team trade they could add someone to the roster

awesome face

Not back to the city where he was a key player on multiple stanley cup teams and finally shed his (undeserved) sketchy reputation?

And they have two elite centers to play with

I'm skeptical myself about their team this year but especially if the hawks added Schmalz for nothing off the roster that 1st rounder could be very late

So a vulnerable franchise would be giving up one of their key assets for very little ultimately as late 1sts have like a 10% chance of being a good NHLer

Even if that pick is 15th it's not great
