They have plenty of room. Do a vancouver acgm with signing pettersson to a 1×10.275 deal and see for yourself. You have to remember they have 10.6 with like 28 guys on the roster.

look if you can sign hughe at this much well then you're good but if you look at what jones and dougie got i think quinn will get more than 8\8,5m

2. He has zero rights. Can’t be offer sheeted, can’t negotiate with other teams. He’ll be reasonably cheap.

Well your offer is as lame as your GM . Canucks could easily match a 10.6 offer sheet and all your doing is driving up another teams price and pissing everyone off. Do you not think other teams will do that back when Suzuki and Caulfield are up for RFA? All you are doing is making enemies with your unsuccessful dumb ass offer sheets.
