What do you think?

I’ve been told he, a 4th, and a 6th have been worth MUCH more than a 1st,2nd,4th,Paquette,and Byron.

I personally think the Coyotes would accept due to that shiny 1st and best of all, 2nd round pick 🤩

I think Montreal isn’t trading the Kk compensation for Dvorak since Kk is better than Dvorak, so maybe like 1st for Dvorak, middle between fair and Kk value

THat's a lot for a player with 38 points as a career high

Kotkaniemi is not better than Dvorak right now. Maybe his ceiling is higher but as of right now Dvorak is the better player and its not even close

Ehh, the margin between kk and Dvorak isn't too big but if it's a 1 for 1, i'm taking kk all day long

The margin is very big. Kotkaniemi is a below average player but has high upside. Dvorak is an above average player right now. Maybe in terms of trade value they are close because Kotkaniemi has room to improve but as of right now Dvorak is by far the better player

I actually think that the best deal for both teams would be for Montreal's first- and second-round picks in 2023, not 2022.

Arizona has two 2022 first-rounders and FIVE second-rounders. Getting an additional pick in both of the first two rounds in 2023 would help their "rolling" development more than piling up this next year.

Montreal would keep both of their first-round picks in 2022, which would soften the blow of losing Kotkaniemi and immediately start on replacing him.

Postponing the picks a year is to Montreal's advantage, so I would add Jake Evans or Josh Brook.

We need Evans, he’s our 3c so Brook

Dvorak's contract is also going to add value. Even if you consider him a 3C that contract is less than what you are going to pay the elite 3C's in the game today (Pageau, Gourde)
