Which ones? Kaprizov could leave for KHL if Minnesota doesn't sign him but they have major cap issues with Suter and Parize buyouts. Rangers have space and a willingness to add Kaprizov to play with Panarin, even if it costs them two of their stud prospects. Wild can then flip Kravtsov for a centre on an entry level contract (can be Zegras, can be Lundell). Fiala only has one year on his deal. Podkolzin and Hoglander are two young, inexpensive wingers.

Hoglander / Zegras / Kakko
Boldy / Rossi / Podkolzin

That is a top-six they could afford going through the tough years when those buyouts are hurting them.

Kravtsov isn't even remotely close to Zegras' or Lundell's value.

This is the guy who said that Hischier and Hughes are busts and the Devils "should move on from Hughes and Hischier as soon as this year and start rebuild all over again. The challenge would be finding anyone willing to take Hischier’s contract. Devils may have to add to dump that salary.

Something like: Ty Smith & Nico Hischier for a draft pick in the 7th round in year 2024.”

You know, on the armchair GM section, you make trades and discuss. Nobody needs to be rude, correcting people’s spelling mistakes, etc. Maybe you should try discussing trades with people, instead of what you are doing. I for one, usually come to discuss and have a good time. We all should be here because of that. So PLEASE act your age, and discuss about the trades instead of making fun of people.

I wasn't making fun of him at all. I was using a brief list to demonstrate the phonetic likeness of those two names.

Yeah, slightly less ridiculous, but still pretty outrageous...Consider that Anaheim wasn't willing to include Zegras (or Drysdale for that matter) in an Eichel trade-Eichel is a top 10-15 player in this league...

As I said just less ridiculous. Not that I'd do it. Lol

I disagree. I think Kravtsov is at par or slightly ahead of them.

You literally were making fun of the one guy for spelling Kravtsov wrong.

Are you even able to explain the Zegras trade?

Did it sounds good in your head even before posting?

Zegras plays center and Kravtsov is primarily a winger. It was more about filling a positional need that I believed Minnesota had. I think Kravtsov will produce more offense at NHL level. He has done it in KHL playing against men.

I like Kravtsov, but that's just delusional. You're ranking your prospects too high. Zegras and Lundell are both Top prospects. Kravtsov isn't better than them and it's not close.

We understand why you did the trade from Minnesota's perspective. I personally don't understand how you think that the Ducks would ever accept this. Zegras' value is far higher than Kravtsov's. But it's common that people rank their favorite team's prospects higher than they are.

Kaprizov > Kratzov and kaako
Zegras>>>>>>> Kratzov
Podkolzin and hoglander > Fiala
Podkolzin + 2nd > Rental trocheck

You’re overvaluing Kratzov (by a lot) and fiala. In the trades you propose, it seems like you’re not too high on Zegras or Hoglander, but then in your roster you consider both of the to be top line players.

Zegras is younger than Kratzov, has been far better in their similar NHL sample sizes, and, as you pointed out, is a centre. Anaheim would have to be crazy to do this trade.

As you point out, Fiala only has one year left before needing a significant raise, whereas Hoglander and Podkolzin are inexpensive. Why would Vancouver have any motivation to trade two top 9 20-year-old forwards for a player who will be very expensive in one season?

Finally, trocheck is a nice piece, but he has one year left and your trading an NHL ready 20 year old PLUS a 2nd rounder for him. Seems way off unless you’re a team going all in.

This is like a half rebuild, half all in team.

Nico Hischier is making $7,250,000 for next seven years, yet has shown very little that is worth that amount. It is all projection. Yet Devils fans constantly say that Krieder and Trouba are cap dumps while making $6,500,000 and $8,000,000 respectively, but they have earned those salaries. I said Ty Smith since it came following a Devils fan saying Rangers would need to add K'Andre Miller to Trouba's contract to get a team to take him.

This entire AGM actually makes a lot more sense if you swap out Kratzov and Kaako for Lafreniere and get rid of the Vancouver and Carolina trades.

Basically lafreniere for kaprizov, then laff for Zegras. Still super unrealistic but at least is more believable than whatever this is supposed to be

Could have done that too. Or trade Lafreniere first to Anaheim for Zegras. Then flip Zegras along with another piece for Kaprizov.

By what logic? There's literally nobody who would even put them in the same conversation.

Bahaha.

Above and beyond all else wingers are less valuable than centres.

Talk about it. Kravtsov is one of the best young players in the game and a future scoring leader. Kakko is a beast of a player, future Selke candidate and top-six RW. Find a better pair for Kaprizov and I will endorse it.

Huh😂

Kravtsov had 4 points this year
