why is Leonard hated by the coaching staff? he had a bad rookie season! but they put him in a bad spot to start out and demanded his college numbers from him.
he needs time to grow! he would be best suited on the 3rd line with Bonio as a mentor for the next 2 seasons before you should expect him to be a top 6 guy! IMO
he should have played in the AHL last season and got use to pro hockey speed before throwing him to the wolves
