Tampa doesn’t have the cap for that, and they wouldn’t do it. Anaheim likes Comtois, so no way they would do that as well. Also, that’s an underpay. Comtois is a good player.

Gavrikov is a solid top 4 defensive defenseman, tops out as a #3 d.

You’re correct Florida shouldn’t trade Lundell, but that is about the only way that anyone considers taking the Bobrovsky contract (imo it’s the worst contract in the league), though he probably doesn’t waive his NMC to go back to Columbus.

And agreed. Lundell is likely just a starting point to getting rid of that contract. Sorry, FLA.

i agree idk why they signed him.... they had so much talent in goalie if they waited.... i believe USA and Canada's WJ goalies this year were drafted by FLA

Yup, Knight and Levi, though they did trade Levi to Buffalo in the Reinhart deal.

Yes, it would be stupid for Florida. But he wasn't talking about value but about what makes sense for the Ducks. (I love Weegar. He's a Top 15 D-man, maybe even Top 10.) And it wouldn't make sense for the worst offensive team in the league to trade their only good goal scorer at the moment for him. And the Ducks are rebuilding, so trading a 22-year-old for a 27-year-old wouldn't be the best idea.
