This week three Blues posts want to trade a center for a top pairing LD. Kempny has played top pairing to win a Cup. I could see STL asking for a 3rd rounder or something to balance some risk that he reinjures his leg, but before Caps Camp he worked out with a Czech team for a few weeks and it seems like he rehabbed it right.

This week three Habs fans posted trades offering a left D (and often a wing that the Caps don't need) for Lars Eller.

All in all, I'm trading an LD who played top pair to win a Cup for one who played 2nd pair to make the Finals, and trading a Cup winning 3C coming off two straight year on at least a 42 point pace for a Cup winning 3L who has never had a 30 point season. So of course everybody is shocked and disappointed. Want me to throw in Ovechkin?
