Anaheim is too far from contending to trade for Eichel, they really need to trade away their valuable UFA's and tear down further.

I think teams need to compete with young talent and not just expect them to lose or hold them back in juniors or AHL to tank. Zegras and Mctavish have looked good. The defense and goaltending is still solid. I think this opens the window back up.

Come back to us when Eichel has played 41 games. Until then, Henrique, Steel or Jones and the 2023 first are the limit.

IMO, I kind of expect the trade to be valued around what an OS would look like for his remaining 5 years. So 2 1sts a 2nd and a 3rd.
