You could run a lineup like this after making that horrible Marner trade, putting Klefbom on LTIR, buying out Archibald, signing a decent cheap FA like Jankowski, and trading Kassian. Pretty small price to pay to get Marner into your lineup. Cant believe people think this is a bad trade for Edmonton

Some Leaf fans are greatly under appreciating what Marner does.

Shanny and Co. built a very strong and very expensive top 6. Now it's up to that group to keep cycling the supporting cast to find the right recipe. Last year was another disappointing season, but I hope it pissed off our young core! This year to me is the real make or break year. If they falter again, I hope they move a MM or WN (depending on value coming back).

And there's no way Dubas brings back Hyman at that cap hit and term.
