Fun fact: The Lightning haven't lost back-to-back games in regulation all season. Wow.

Even if they don't, history's on their side-they lost Game 1 against both the Stars in 2020 and the Isles in 2021 and still (obviously) won both series

Bruins are coming in hot too. They're only 2 points back from Toronto.

Top 8 teams in the East are pretty much set but seeding still all over the place. A month ago I thought Florida was going to run away with the top seed. Apparently not.

Tyler Johnson looked really weird in that red jersey.

Less than ideal. But I'm impressed by that pull by Cooper.

Indeed. The offense has been doing quite well lately, but the D has been, to put it mildly, not good. Vasi bailed them out on Sunday against Chicago with those RIDICULOUS saves on Dach and Kane, but last night they got pummeled, giving up grade-A chance after grade-A chance (look at Lowry on the 2nd goal, or Dubois on the PP go-ahead! There's NOBODY NEAR THEM, and they're RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE NET!!). Vasi, as amazing as he is, can't stop everything. They need to do a better job at limit the opposition's chances, both in quality and quantity. Here's to hoping that starts tomorrow in Calgary.

Definitely felt like they were prepared for a different opponent. Wouldn't be surprised if they did all prep work for Calgary and just kinda hoped the Peg game would work out.

I just hope we have a goal that we can call the game winner.

I think we just need to stay off the powerplay and we'll have a chance.

That was a tough situation for Sergy, but am I the only one who thinks:
Hedman-Rutta > Hedman-Sergy?

It just seems like Hedman and Sergachev together are swiss cheese.

Yeah. They do it when they need a goal. But I don't feel like it works. Rutta is way more predictable allowing Heddy to do Heddy things.

74 games in. Do we need to have the Cal Foote conversation yet?

Seems as if I paid for tickets just to watch Vasy and Ross show up. Hopefully the rest of the team makes it from Winnipeg in time for the oilers game
