Hockey fans really get caught up in RHD and LHD. More important is good having the best six Dmen you can on your team. Reilly for Myers is a no from the Leafs. And Lemieux is no better than some of the Leaf winger prospects.

If you offered us Trouba for Rielly I would say no, let alone Myers

Reilly is as valuable as Trouba is so either you pony up or you don't get him.

Not sure who J. Phillips is, but if he's as good and valuable as Ehlers it;s a good deal. If he's a rando scrub then this is offensive because Myers value is down with his injuries. I think Reilly is better than Trouba so a swap of those guys is more realistic, but you'd have to add some to Trouba.

there is no way the leafs would ever trade Reilly he is the one of the best up and coming defenseman and they just signed him to a long term deal. and second of all trouba is not for sure going put up the numbers and third of all when Rielly was injured the leafs didn't do well with him not in the lineup and for a team that is rebuilding troupe isn't a good fit if you are trading a player that could be the next leafs captain

I think it would be more like Myers and Jets 1st and even then I don't know if that would be enough.

I do think that Myers would be a good fit with the Leafs if Trouba decides to stay around long term but they don't have much to give up. Maybe Myers for their 1st would be more realistic, but even then they're still building so they probably wouldn't want to move a 1st but the Jets have no need for quantity returns and Toronto won't be interested in trading us Freddie Anderson either.

So although Toronto has a need, Myers needs to get back playing to put the injury concerns behind him so the Jets can get a decent return and Toronto doesn't have what the Jets would want unless they decide to part with a 1st.

That's a hard no from Toronto.... Trouba alone doesn't get it done. Reilly is already signed long term. Trouba has already stated he doesn't want to be in Winnipeg. Recently I read he stated he is curious where he fits when Myers is healthy....
