Thoughts?

I like it for the Leafs for sure (although I love me some Marner. The man is historically a cheat code). But it turns 11m in 2 players rather than 1. Leafs also get another stanley cup winner in Toews.

Chicago gets the best player in the deal in Marner.

I wouldn't trade $6.4M RFA Cat for $11M UFA Marner 1 for 1

...unless Marner almost is able to double Cat's production...I mean 70 goals is doable in a season right?

I think a lot of people would prefer debrincat to marner, especially at that cap number.
