Considering how big troubas buyout would be you're better off retaining 1.5 million on him and trading him if you can find someplace he'd waive for.

AGREED but we all know this site.. "He's unmovable even if he waives and has retention" just checking these numbers in the absolute worst case scenario. Can even trade Lindgren and Nemeth if needed.

I don’t think Trouba is unmovable especially depending on retention, but with his spouse and the NMC it is probably a very limited trade base he would be willing to go to.

Exactly. I agree and didn’t want to have arguments with the 3 markets about value

I think she will be done with her residency before his contract is up and then I think he would waive his NMC depending on the destination.

With this it won’t be this summer he is bought out or traded, it’ll be when laf/Miller need new deals. They can afford him next year and that’ll save them a extra year on the back end

“Hypothetical” doesn’t mean we need to. It’s a simple “I don’t want to argue over trade value or whether he waives and to what market”. It’s simply a worst case scenario since everyone seems to thing we can’t afford to keep the young kids and the popular trolling comment is “not tradable”
