I don't know Miller is playing 22 mins a game right now, is at a point per game and is taking a lot of faceoffs. Let's wait and see what Vancouver fans say. He is signed for next year also, not just this year. They may want more to be honest.

Cap needs to go back to Vancouver, hence Ritchie.

22 min left winger/centre - almost a point per game guy. Big body. Half retained for this year AND next year.

At this cap hit, he helps the Leafs a TON.

Vancouver gets a nice package for sure, but this is what I think it would need to be.

If Toronto wants to go all in then maybe it makes sense, but Robertson will be better than Miller and you’re also giving away a 1st and a 3rd

It's an overpay. A year and half of JT Miller isn't worth what's essentially two firsts.

It's not just jt miller though. The retention and taking on Ritchie adds up

Yeah i don't see why we would do this right now we are still all in, so doesn't make sense for us to retain and take a cap dump for a late first and a b prospect, I don't really see anything from the Canucks POV that would make this team better
