I feel like Tampa won't want to take a big risk in maata's injury history. However, Johnson will probably be available to trade for, but why would pens want to lose a D and have johnson on an already stacked offence? I would take Schultz or domoulin for Johnson, but idk if penguins will want to do that trade.

Why do they need RHD if they have Stralman, Sustr, and Coburn? Seems like a pretty decent right side. Hedman, Maatta, and Garrison would be good on the left side as well.

As good as both Hedman and Maatta are I'm sure they could play together as well, regardless of who is on their off side.

I really don't think you want Schultz over Maatta. I think the general consensus on Schultz is that he works for the Penguins, but do his skills translate to other styles. Maatta is a good puck mover and is very responsible defensively. He's made of glass and you are taking that risk, but he's young and will get stronger. He's also very well cost controlled for quite some time. Penguins don't necessarily need to sell him, but Schultz's emergence as a viable top 4 has allowed them to possibly gain an asset out of him.

i can't see johnson being as cheap as 4.5million to resign if he is that cheap the lightning can afford to keep him.
