Really not going to be shocked if they do. He looks incredibly disinterested. A blockbuster with LA for turcotte, a 22 top 10 pick, 23 first and a 2nd won’t be the least bit surprising to me

Panik turns 31 in February and is currently in the AHL. His cap hit is twice what Jones' is, and he's a UFA after one more season. Jones turns 24 in February and is a RFA after two more seasons, so he's under team control for at least four more years. Jones has future upside; Panik has gone as far as he's going to go.

We wouldn't make that trade if you added the Colorado 2022 second (which will be in the 57 to 64 range).
