I doubt WSH would be looking to get rid of him. They just signed him to an extention.

He just had surgery and is out indefinitely so I dont think this really makes sense

Plus WSH just traded Vrana+1st+2nd for him

Vrana was the one that signed an extension not Mantha

I wouldn't be so sure. That cap hit was murdering the Caps, and while I was more thinking they used a 2nd to dump him, it's not unreasonable to say they used a first as Panik was useless and getting payed far too much.

A) the 1st was projected to be late
B) they dumped 3y x2.75m that’s nothing to ignore like you did.
