Sorry bud, this makes little sense. Ritchie at 2.4m is untradeable..."anywhere" doesn't cut it.
Why does Nashville take on an extra 3m for a back up goalie?
Leafs lose big on that Chicago trade. Johnson isn't worth 3.5m, Nylander might not be an NHLer, and you had so little cap, you never even signed Strome. Just keep the superior Kerfoot and the other assets.
Joey Anderson and Kristians Rubins NHLers?

I am not so sure Ritchie is untradeable. He's young enough and with enough track record to still be enticing for some people. Look at Gudbranson, how many times has that guy been given more money than 2.5. I would wager there are a couple teams that would take a flyer on gaining a big body winger. Worst case it would be a move him with a mid round pick for a lesser pick scenario.

I think Gudbranson benefits from being a RHD. After all how many trades have we seen to the Leafs posted that the Leafs give up the moon for a crappy Dman just because he shoots right. Funny that is a pattern ,but a pretty steady, 20 minutes a night RHD , Holl, gets crapped on, and traded away for nothing.

      Kerfoot is superior to Strome?

It is by this post. He traded for Strome next summer, and had no cap to sign him. So he acquired Tyler Johnson at 3.5m....Kerfoot is infinitely better than Johnson.
Actually Kerfoot is playing quite well this season, and really for most of his time as Leaf. He's defensive responsible but doesn't have great finish offensively. Don't know what it about some Leaf fans. If Kerfoot isn't up to Matthews standards, they think he's a bum and can be replaced by a bottom ender from some team. Same with Holl and Dermot...excellent value at 3.5m total,

I thought you were comparing Strome vs. Kerfoot and saying Kerfoot is superior in the context of play on ice, past production, age, contract value, etc. as I would not agree with that 1 for 1.
