Not that I know everything about NYI (Tortz system).

But I really really don't see Tortz and Kessel meshing well.

Trotz and Ovechkin worked out pretty well, so I'm not sure Kessel would be much different.

One was among the top 2/3 players in the world while Trotz had him, and could hit like a tank.

The other is a guy going into the twilight of his career, was always among the worst defensive players in the league, and is only getting worse as a 5v5 scorer.

So, I'm thinking Trotz may give a bit more leash to the former.
