Seems like an awful lot to give up. Letang certainly makes them better but I am not sure it's necessary.

If they're going to spend, wouldn't a premium top six winger be a better choice?

Honestly if Im Dubas im looking at Rakell and Manson from the Ducks. Kills 2 birds with one stone as you got Muzzin insurance and a good top 6 pickup.

Manson sucks and the Ducks are likely making the playoffs. In a completely wide open west, they could even win a round or two.
