I really don't get Evolving Wild's contract predictions. He currently makes $6M, his QO is $10M (which is insane), but somehow he signs a 4 year deal for less than what he makes now? Doesn't make sense to me.

Edit: "He" meaning Meier, wasn't clear on that.

Imo RW is more desirable being such a very heavily dominant lefty league.

Meier is on an absolute heater this year so he's the top guy right now but I think NJ would really benefit from adding another right handed shot in the top 6 (Boeser). You'd also be buying low on him and the asking price would be considerably less. I like Fiala but I think Boeser's a better fit when he's on his game. Konecny is good but I don't think PHI would move him.

Meier would be my top target, the 10m QO isnt an issue because you aren't forced to offer it, if you can't get him to sign for long term then its just like he's a UFA. Though that does lead to a lot of guys needing raises in the next two years.
