Holloway is not getting traded. Edmonton is near the cap and they need as much of our prospects on entry level deals to start flourishing to take us to the next level. Not trade them away for contracts we can’t afford. Nice try.

I got a great Idea!!! Lets trade a top 4 LD with 5 more years of great cap value for two rental LDs that are not even as good as the first one and a 2nd. Why??????

Let’s see 23yr old top pairing dman signed for 6 years and you think the Avs will take 30yr old dman who is a pending UFA a 27yr old pending UFA dman and a 2nd rd pick. That’s like an Avs ACGM proposing Suzuki, for Kadri and Burakovsky except that’s a better offer than the proposed trade. Gorton wouldn’t even propose such a horrible trade to Sakic because Sakic would never take his call again.
