I understand why Vancouver would want Faksa, but why would Dallas want Pearson? Dallas values Faksa greatly, and is the only real defensive centerman they have. Dickinson would be a more intriguing piece to get in return.

Does Dallas, or does Bowness? From what I've gathered, the fans think Faksa is overrated and overused. Most of these same fans want Bowness gone. However maybe the winning streak changes that. But there's also three center specs knocking on the doors of a crowded center core, and the wing depth collapses if Pavs walks

I can't see the leafs being interested in that deal. I guess maybe if they need to get back under the cap. Holl is a useful piece and much needed depth. Plenty of other guys that might fit the bill and be more available.

Hard to know what’s going on behind the bench. I’m assuming they have shuffled responsibilities around. Bowness doesn’t have the offensive creativity to run this type of system imho. So I’m pretty sure somebody else is pulling the strings there. Our positioning in our end and PK have improved quite a bit so I’m assuming they finally put Bones back on what he’s good at (defensive assistant, PK). Which is why I don’t want Bones gone I just don’t want him as the head coach. Faksa is overrated and over paid, but at least he kills penalties and is usually good on the dot. If Pearson’s 45 point season was last year I’d be more willing to bet on him bouncing back

Winnipeg first have the space to take on Dickinson's cap hit.

Yeah, well, fans calling for Bowness to be fired they're just silly. Faksa owns the neutral zone and even created the best shut down line in the 2020 playoffs. I don't see how getting Pearson would help the scoring and I don't see how getting rid of our best defensive center would help the scoring either.

Pearson will definitely help with secondary scoring, I can assure you
