I'd say Habs accept but they might ask you for a late/mid round pick just to help offset the retention on Toffoli but overall very fair IMO

I dont think its an overpayment tbh. Kravstov will never play for the rangers again and we need another winger. Getting chiarot would be a positive thing bc it makes the defense even tougher and preps them for the playoffs (if they make it).

Toffoli and Chiarot are good players but MTL's ask is pathetic. Toffoli should fetch 2nd + B prospect at the max. Chiarot should get a 3rd.

Kravtsov literally said he'd be back. NYR also believes he will be back and should make an impact when he gets here.

Tbh I would prefer Schneider over Kratsov and Reunanen

3 years of 50% retention on a 25 goals scorer with a good team mmm you need to pay. Maybe a tad more I too rather have Schneider.

Rangers already have cap issues the next few seasons. And they need to worry about faceoffs and pking.
Probably rather have a rental or a C.

Montreal would be looking for a 1st for Chiarot and a 1st + 3rd for Toffoli without retention you want retention you are adding another 1st easily. No one gives up a 20+ goal scorer signed for 3 more years at 4 mil without getting a first + back. Add on to it 2 mil per year retention and we could easily ask for 2 more 1sts. Good luck finding another 20+ goal scorer for 2 Mil, and people on here say Habs fans are ridiculous!

When they both get traded for considerably more, i guess you will be the only one surprised...
