How much more?

I think the 3rd to 2yrs if compensation is fair.

From just looking at his contract he’s only owed 4.5 million next year and if the move is made at the deadline, his prorated salary to that point at 50%. At that point Vancouver is paying no more than about 5 million in total salary in Miller over the 2 yr span.

To be compltley honest a late first, abramov, and engvall doesn't move the needle for Miller. Engvall has no value and Abramov is not overly impressive.

A couple years ago Goodrow got a first without retention as a 2 year rental.

San Jose drafted Ozzie Wiesblatt with the first rounder, 31st overall, haha.

I mistyped hence why I fixed it was Goodrow and a 3rd for a 1st and prospect.

Miller with 2 years retention would have to start with Robertson or Sandin and then something else. Miller is a big, versatile 70 point scorer who can play center, you're also getting him at less than 3 million.

Millers is not getting a grade A prospect from team with salary cap constraints due to previous regime.

If y’all expect a grade A prospect y’all will be looking for until 2023 UFA when doesn’t resign

I don’t think any team is paying a grade A prospect to a team that salary cap constraints and know a their situation no matter how good the player.

Tough decision need to be made. Even Toronto didn’t get that much from Kessel’s deal but they makes the most of the assets they received by developing or flipping them

5 points in 17 games to start off his AHL career after he just carried Victoriaville to QMJHL championship. It takes time for players to adjust to the AHL.

You know what he sounds just too good you can keep him, we'll take Amirov instead

Proven>Unproven. If you don’t think it’s worth it for Miller, then fine, I’m sure there are other teams who would enjoy his services

Amirov is off the table as he’s too good.

Probably will be a better player than JT miller especially with the Leafs developmental system.

Then go to other teams but they ain’t paying you a grade A prospect for him. They probably pay around the same thing we offered maybe even less.

????? What's with that Seattle trade? If Bergen is better or even equal to Holl, no way Kraken does that trade, due to cap and years of control And if Bergen isn't as good as Holl, the Leafs don't make the trade.

Just quoting these randomly.

OP is clearly a deluded Leafs fan at best, troll at worst. He probably wouldn't trade Sandin for Hughes 1-for-1

Fun facts:

Tavares has 136 points (.94ppg) in the last 3 seasons.

Miller has 141 (.96ppg) in the last 3 seasons.

Right now Miller makes half of Tavares salary. With 50% retained, he would make a quarter of it but sure, all he's worth is a late first + garbage
