Description

I know Simek has minimal value, and Labanc isn't so hot right now, but what more do the Sharks need to add to get this done? They desperately need scoring, and right wingers. Kessel is a good player on a bad team with an expiring contract. This clears up space to resign Hertl and Ferraro, and maybe even space for Kessel to stay next year if San Jose can get Kane moved.

I think you could get Kessel at 50% for a 2nd round pick.

Sharks don’t want or need Kessel idk why so many times this trade is made. To me this is an overpayment for half a season of a guy who won’t resign.

If this isn’t enough to get it done, SJ shouldn’t match what ARI is asking for and just walk away.

Great deal, this isn't really buying, its offloading two slightly bad contracts for an expiring one. Doubt Arizona accepts but if they think they can rebuild their value a sell for more next year it could work.
