Description

Heinola is coming up, so I’m assuming he’s going to jump right into the 2RD spot. He’s been lights out for the Moose this year so makes sense to reward him with that opportunity.

Also I’m sorry but how does Ian Cole get a $5k fine for the same hit that got Pionk suspended 2 games? Like I’m genuinely confused as to what DOPS is doing.

I’d imagine these are the lines they run on the road trip.

CSW as a top line sucks, and Wheeler in the top 6 sucks.

I think they will play Heinola on the left with DeMelo. Heinola has been playing LD this season on the Moose so it would be a big ask to play in the NHL on his off side right away. Since Maurice has said Dillon has played RD in the past, my guess is that they will keep Dillon-Stanley together but with Dillon on the right.

That said, a healthy scratch is also highly likely.

Yeah what you’ve proposed is likely. But I know they also wanted Heinola to get used to playing on his offside. Pretty sure he played a bit last year.

If the islanders continue to suck, and trotz is let go. I’d sending Maurice to the moon as quickly as possible and be bringing in trotz. Jets need a very system heavy coach.

Think Boudreau would've been a better fit for the Jets but that ship has sailed.

Also agree here. Last game it showed, especially in the first period. Too many giveaways in all ends of the ice.

I would also lose my mind if Heinola is stratched for even ONE of those games. Dude has played 4 AHL games within a span of 2 weeks so he needs the opportunity badly. For his age, the numbers he is putting up is outstanding.

Also I think Maurice's time is up. I'm surprised he wasnt let go after yesterday's game. The way we played was terrible, his strategies didn't work. Too much giveaways, which is basically the cause of that first goal.

Our best options for coach would be Morrison, Vincent, Lambert, or Tocchet. Maybe even Julien.

Betting Mo keeps being Mo and plays Heinola in the press box, Wheeler gets 24min on the top line and are perpetually hemmed in the D-zone bleeding chances and then in the post game presser says he’s happy with how they played and how effective our static PP and how pathetic our PK is, and the media eats it all up while not once criticizing or questioning his decision making!
