I have not watched every Oilers game but of the ones I have, Foegele has helped the bottom six better the season than the last 3 seasons.

Why would you want to trade him? Mistake IMO.

Intense 2019 Flashbacks

Seriously though, I feel like Edmonton is getting fleeced here. Even though Foegele should be classified as the enemy of the people in DC, the Capitals should immediately accept this. I like Benson quite a lot, and Foegele can be flipped somewhere else, since I would prefer to play Benson than him in replacement of Hagelin. I would be surprised if any team pays much, if anything, for Hagelin due to his contract situation in Washington.

It's probably premature to trade him but the Oilers bottom 6 is getting absolutely caved right now, had a strong start through 10 games but that has vanished. Bottom 6 gets scored on even strength most games and I believe we're about 6 games or so since we've had someone from our bottom 6 score.

They rejected a deal for Laine to keep hold of Pesce. If it's going to take more than Laine for him, yeah, he's pretty close.
