NSH isn’t doing that. No need for Barrie and his contract.

I get that it's nearly Christmas, but this seems excessively generous.

This seems like overkill for the Oilers, ,no doubt they'd be a better team after these moves but do they really need a Kubalik on their 3rd line, probably not and he probably wouldn't do well there anyway, he'd need top 6 minutes/linemates to flourish.

Doubt the Devils would trade Severson, good offer but I can't see them trading him.

Can't see the Oilers trading Russell and likely no one wants Koekoek or Sceviour, can just bury them in the minors for the same cap relief.

Do think the Coyotes trade is interesting, would try to get one of J.Larsson or Lybushkin too if I was giving that much even with Kassian in there.

Wonder if any of the free agent vets like E.Staal, B.Ryan or Demers could help the Oilers.

Remember when Connor Brown was getting traded to the Oilers from the Leafs daily on here for a 3rd round pick??..
Should've made that deal then.. lol 😆 🤣 😂

NJ would be foolish not to accept this

You'd know better then I, does NJ have a rhd prospect to replace Severson? Seems like they're trying to get out of rebuild mode, would think they'd rather keep Severson then trade him.

They have Walsh as their best/most ready RHD prospect
He's supposed to replace Subban, but he could maybe replace Sevo if a good deal like this gets offered

Considering that Arizona acquired Gostisbehere together WITH a second-round pick for nothing, I don't see how his value has risen that far in a quarter of a season. ONE of the defense prospects plus ONE second seems generous to me.
