Honestly I've lived in canada my entire life and in all my french courses in Alberta/BC I can only ask for a red pen in french and nothing else. So to see the guys who can go between English and french is inpressive and doesnt deserve fo be chirped even if the english is a little rough.
I learned French in the maritimes, but can't recall much of it. I can usually get enough from it in written form to understand the gist of it, but conversationally, not a chance.

we actually study the other's perspective more so than our own, at least my school does.
I can tell you that in school in Quebec Ive heard they talk more so about the french colonization rather than the english and they leave out much of the American History
