Every single game, Chiarot is not a game changing player that all of a sudden makes their defense great and their gap to make the playoffs is most likely too great. The Isles do not trade for Chiarot at all at this point, a team in playoff position who needs a final piece to their D does.

It would be great if the Isles all of a sudden played at the pace of the #1 team in Hockey, because that is what they would need to do to make the playoffs. It won't happen and Isles should be moving players to try and get any value even if low picks at the dead line and make their big changes in the offseason.
