Dahin has a good season and BUF is looking at the future rn and it seems like they will win someday, why would they trade him now?

Value wise your trade works thought

BUF has no reason to trade him. I just personally feel really bad for the guy. He just doesn't look like he cares anymore. Terrible development by BUF for a potential Erik Karlson

I just feel like if he got crosschecked into the boards he'd get up and say "My bad"

LA won't trade Bjornfot or Anderson for a LHD. The whole reason why they're willing to give up a hefty price for a guy like Dahlin is because they're desperately short on LHD in the pipeline.

If you swap out Bjornfot for a comparatively valued piece, I'd be ok with that price.

I feel like these are a couple of trades that LA would consider.
IF (And this is a big IF) they didn’t have Kopitar and Doughtys contracts. As it is, they won’t be able to afford their youth in three years, let alone Chychrun’s UFA and Dahlin’s RFA.

Dahlin to LA makes so much sense to me.

Sadly BUF has no intent of moving the guy. Which is a shame because he's never going to be as good in Buffalo as he would be in virtually anywhere else. It's just a losing game for both the Sabres and Dahlin himself.

That being said, seeing BUF fans response to many Dahlin trade posts on this site is fully understandable. You just don't move an uncut piece of gemstone in exchange to a chunk of coal that maybe might be useful in the future. That gem could turn out to be a f*cking diamond.

Kempe will get more, Mikey Anderson will get a LOT more (and more than Lemieux), but you mentioned that in your Team Explanation.

I'd happily substitute Alex Turcotte for Brandt Clarke in that trade.

Kopitar's contract will expire before Dahlin needs a new deal.

Doughty is playing some of the best hockey of his career and is actually living up to his deal this season.

Buddy, I'm sorry but anyone who isnt a blind BUF fan can see what we are all talking about.

Dahlin has been on the wrong end of Soo many highlight goals. Zegras-Milano (wasn't his fault but still, Tanev shg, bertuzi goal a little while ago, and that just off the top of my head.

If you look at his body posture, he just doesn't care. Theres no fire in him.

Plus y'all BUF fans booed him the other night

Neither keeping him or moving him does. Both of them are a waste.

Utter rubbish.

Has had some poor moments, but on a 50 point pace.

More points as a teenager than Bobby Orr

Playing more minutes and tougher minutes, there will be some growing pains.

Move on

Buddy nobody is questioning the talent. we all know its there. By now he should be in the same sentence as Makar, Hueghes, Fox with regards to offensive production. He was drafted as an Erik Karlson and playing like a Tyson Barrie.

We all know young Dmen take time to develop but BUF has done nothing to help him.

I would. He's your best piece, and he's getting booed and he just doesn't seem to give a crap. Can't blame the guy honestly.
