    3. 2022 3rd round pick (NYI)
    Additional Details:
VAN gets a young RD to pair with Hughes and takes a 1 year cap hit thats a little higher than Miller's. Miller is probably my favorite VAN player rn but with Rutherfords comments about gaining draft picks and building for the future maybe they don't want to extend a 29 year old Miller for 5-7 years. On the other hand Lou doesn't seem to mind doing that sorta thing at all.
    NYI
    1. Miller, J.T. ($2,625,000 retained)
    Additional Details:
Miller has been a PPG guy since coming to VAN that can play C or wing as well kill penalties and be on the PP. This deal is done at the draft NYI gets him for 1 year at 2,625,000 and then a 5-7 year extension ranging from 6,500,000 to 8,000,000.

In the description I mentioned he's extended for 5-7 years. I meant for that to be included in the deal. That change anything?

Lou wouldn’t give up Noah Dobson for Mark stone, he definitely isn’t giving him up for Miller. Dobson isn’t available

You might be able to get a 3rd or 4th for a retained Hamonic at the trade deadline but it's looking more and more like the Jets are going to be or at least should be sellers themselves.

I feel bad for Stastny sticking around with this gongshow, would've had a better cup chance elsewhere.

No, Dobson is not available and if the Isles want Miller they can wait until the offseason.

There is no guarantee that Miller extends which plays a huge factor. Plus they won't be trading Dobson for a forward especially

i think it’s a bridge deal somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-2.5mil.

Not really, he’ll be 22 and is currently in between a bottom pair and middle pair guy. Developing well but he’ll get a bridge deal.
