they definitely add a cheap vet on or 2 on the blue line. I'm not sure Edvinsson will be ready but wallinder definitly won't be. I would never pay laine that cash. I don't see him as a good fit here.

Laine is the exact players who Yzerman would never tradefor or sign. He is too much like Mantha and why all saw what he did there. He is too much like and an enigma, plays hard some times and others not so much. Yzerman likes guys who are going all the time.

I think a 1st and a high prospect are Laine’s price, so you’re about there. Not sure how high I am on Zadina, though. Seems to not really have hit the high gear DET was hoping for him.
